Sadie's craft as a dancer is centered around contemporary-jazz fusion and improvisation. However, she has trained and performed in many difference dance styles, studying throughout her early years in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and contemporary. At Yale University, Sadie was a member of the Yale Dance Lab, the Yale Modern Dance Collective, and Taps at Yale. In the Yale Dance Lab, she performed in two annual commissions with focus on contemporary/classical Indian dance fusion and contact improvisation.

 

Additionally, at Yale University, Sadie studied extensively under Renee Robinson, taking classes in Ailey repertoire and Horton influence. She also studied under Daniel Ulbricht, focusing on the repertoire of New York City Ballet.
