Born and raised in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, Sadie was raised among storytellers. Visual art, music, dance, and creative community projects have shaped her understanding of the world. Her southern roots have fostered a fierce love for folk music, environmental conservation advocacy, improvisation and jam settings, and accessibility to the arts. These elements are reflected in her work as an actress, dancer, choreographer, and singer-songwriter, among other trades.
